Ray the Service Dog Meets the New Shetland Sheep at the LA Zoo
I finally took the time to renew my LA Zoo membership. I hadn’t gone in a few months, so it was nice to see that the Zoo has once again expanded its collection of animals. Here are 4 new Shetland sheep, about 7 or 8 months old. Usually the sheep are sheared, but because of their young age when the Zoo acquired them, they were unable to shear them. I kind of like how they look like giant puffballs. The sheep were super friendly with my service dog Ray. My dog is an English Shepherd, a breed known for its gentle behavior around farm animals, especially sheep. Video taken by me, phoenixgenesis, on September 24, 2014 via iPhone 720p.
