Ray the Service Dog Demonstrates How to Ride an Elevator
Ray the Service Dog rides an elevator. Christopher “Killatia” Wyche recorded this How-To Animal Training Video for me on my iPhone on June 7, 2014 prior to our going to E3 Expo. Riding an elevator is easier than riding an escalator, so I suggest doing this over the latter. However, people who are fearful of dogs can become claustrophobic and erratic, so you need to keep your service dog as calm as possible.Ray has behaved better than many such people in these situations and I am so proud of him.
Ray and I have practiced this and other everyday service dog activies for years now, so it’s second nature to him. Video copyright Phoenix Genesis, all rights reserved. This demo was performed at the Glendale Galleria in Glendale, California. Cover photo of Ray taken at the Long Beach Dog Beach by me on August 1, 2010.
