Harley Jr. Relaxes in a Tree and Listens to Birds Singing at Chevy Chase Park
Our cat Harley Jr. is always whining to go outside. Unfortunately, she is allergic to fleas. So, I came up with a happy compromise. I carry her in my backpack and then place her in a nice sturdy and slightly inclined tree branch. She gets to relax, soak in the sun, and listen to the birds chirping away without worrying about fleas biting her or dogs attacking her. Although at first tentative about the whole ordeal, she seemed to make herself at home in nature. Photos taken on May 7, 2014 in Los Angeles, CA near Glendale. I shot this in square format on the iPhone.
