Official Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Reveal Trailer
It is now official, the next game in the Call of Duty franchise is not Modern Warfare, Black Ops, or Ghosts, but Advanced Warfare. Trying to do something a bit different while still adhering to the COD roots, this first person shooter will center around hired mercenaries in futuristic warfare waged by corporations for personal profit rather than politically motivated. It seems that Kevin Spacey will lend his voice acting skills and cinematic persona toward some kind of corporate super-villain who vies for power with his own personal army. Reminds me a bit of the Metal Gear Solid franchise. As to the exoskeleton on the soldier, I wonder if it’s going to have some super power features like the futuristic suit in the Crysis franchise?Power changes everything on November 4th, 2014.
I’m confident this title will make its way across all major gaming platforms when it finally releases on November 4, 2014 and that we can expect the usual DLC season pass options upon purchase. But, despite all those multiplayer maps, will be get zombies, aliens, or something completely different to sink our FPS teeth into? I would like to see Spec Ops missions and Chaos Mode return in this installment like we had in COD: Modern Warfare 3. From the trailer, the storyline looks like it could be interesting, but I hope it is a little bit longer than the one in COD: Ghosts.Call of Duty®: Advanced Warfare envisions battlegrounds of the future, where both technology and tactics have evolved to usher in a new era of combat for the franchise.
Enjoy the XBox One reveal trailer and the leaked screenshots. For a diehard COD fan such as myself, this trailer simply looks amazing. For those haters out there, Call of Duty is here to stay. It’s only been 2 days since the official trailer hit YouTube and it’s gotten almost 7 million views. So, do the math and wrap your head around how many people worldwide have watched this trailer unofficially since it was leaked and how many times they’ve probably watched it to gleen every tiny bit of detail, and you can see that this game will probably make the Guinness Book of World Records pantheon come 2015 like its predecessor.
Please, Activision, I need to be CODnapped NOW to play this amazing title by Sledgehammer Games! We’ll hopefully get much more information next month at Activision’s booth at E3. In the meantime, enjoy the trailer.
